Rameswaram, a strategically and socially important fishing hamlet, is indeed an enchanting island in the deep waters of Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal. The geographical location of our island limits our living standards and accessibility to the mainstream of life, especially in the fields of education and health. Every parent needs a helping hand and at CIS, we help children grow in all walks of life equipped them as global citizens. System Of Education, Curriculum & Medium Of Instruction:
The school follows the syllabus of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. OXFORD curriculum is implemented to bring out the best in each student. The medium of instruction and communication in the premises is English. Proper care is taken in the teaching of English at different levels. However, there is emphasis on achieving a better standard in Hindi and Tamil as well. Hindi is compulsory from standards I to Xth
